Eating Light (mid-90s)
My first story — more like a scene, and I don’t think it’s very good. A woman’s implants spontaneously inflate…in public.
The Lab (mid-90s)
My second attempt doesn’t read any better to me, but it’s longer at the suggestion of Dr. Enlarge. I added some spandex to the plot, and managed to get a willing subject this time. Still, I think this could be a lot better.
Self Control (mid 90s)
This story came to me all at once, a wild stream-of-consciousness thing that I was lucky enough to put down on paper. It bothered me a lot after I wrote it, so I originally released it with a byline of Anonymous. But with time, I’ve come to really like it.
Remote Possiibilities (1998)
After reading a lot of BE stories where women are enthralled at their big, sudden change, Sievert and I asked ourselves, “What would happen if this really happened to a woman? What would the emotions be?” If my wife’s breasts suddenly started to inflate, I don’t think she’d suddenly start playing with herself — she’d freaking panic on the spot. That’s the logic and angle this story was written from: believable people in an unbelievable situation. Sievert and I passed ever-larger story fragments back and forth over a period of nine months before we had something we liked. I’m pretty happy with it and, of course, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share a pen with Sievert
Liquid Helium (2000)
Total pseudo-science nonsense. Liquid helium exists, but at super-cold temperatures. I didn’t know that when I wrote it and hopefully you won’t care. A nerdy scientist, a sexy dancer, and an intentional deception add up for an inflation experiment with a twist…
Everything (2002)
When you’re really, really horny and stranded in a hotel room on a business trip, the minds starts to wander. This story–about an arrogant woman who has everything and gets her inflatable comeuppance–is a bit more rough and nasty than I usually write, but I actually toned it down considerably before release. This is still a bit gritty, and since when have you seen a revenge story that wasn’t a little mean-spirited anyway?
Happy Holly Days (2005)
This grew out of a fragment I’d written at least a year before; I plopped it on the page and started writing before and after it. It’s not explicit or scary–it’s flirty and fun.
The Corset (2008)
This came to me rather quickly one night, so I ran with it and wrote it in one shot. I didn’t overthink it so I hope you won’t either.
Room 12 (2009)
My entry into Carnatic’s Prose That Blows 500 short story contest. Submissions had to be 500 words or less but tell a complete inflation fetish story. I am proud to have won top honors in the Sexiest Story and Character You’d Like to Fuck categories!
The Problem (2009)
My first attempt at a Prose That Blows story, and I didn’t like it enough to submit it, so I tried another approach with Room 12. Still, this is complete, and I figure it’s worth releasing. It’s not great, but it’s not that bad either.
The Perfect Storm (2009)
A departure from my usual tone; it’s less witty banter and more hard fuckin’. Yes, there’s an actual explicit sex scene in it. This is also my first male-inflation story, so you’ve been warned on all counts.
Happyland (2010)
My entry for Prose that Blows 2, where the theme was summer fun. I shared the award for most original plot.
The Stuff of Legend (2010)
For Prose that Blows 3, the theme was Halloween. I didn’t feel this was a stellar story, but wanted to participate despite being pressed for time. Not an award winner, but hopefully 750 words of entertainment!
Christmas Protocol (2010)
Prose that Blows 4 took place right around the holidays, so that was the theme. Not too many people entered — maybe too busy? Anyway, I felt Stuff of Legend was too light on description of the actual inflation, so I started there and built around that. I guess it paid off — I won Best Story and Sexiest Story.
